WWE Champion Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on April 5, 1986. She won the WWE (Raw) Women’s Championship a record six times. The SmackDown Women’s Championship a record seven times. The NXT Women’s Championship twice, and both the Women’s Tag Team and Divas Championships once. She is the daughter of former professional wrestler Ric Flair and the sister of David Flair and Reid Flair. In 2014, she was named Rookie of the Year by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Before becoming a professional wrestler, Fleihr’s exposure to the WWE occurred as early as 2006 at age 19, when she appeared at ringside during the January 16 episode of Monday Night RAW, held in Raleigh, North Carolina. Announced by her real name, she stood at ringside during her father Ric Flair’s Tables Ladders and Chairs match against the reigning WWE Champion Edge.
